Notice of Environment Act Proposal
Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:
ROSE VALLEY COLONY LTD. – WATER RESERVOIR - FILE: 6048.00
An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Rose Valley Colony Ltd. for the construction and operation of a dugout water reservoir in NE 22-6-6W in the Rural Municipality of Dufferin southwest of Graysville. The reservoir would be filled from the Boyne River during the spring runoff period each year, with the stored water used for community and livestock water supply.
Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Bruce Webb, Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Bruce.Webb@gov.mb.ca or by telephone at 204-945-7021, not later than April 23, 2020. Information submitted in response to this proposal is considered public information and will be made available to the proponent and placed on the public registry established in accordance with Section 17 of The Environment Act.
