Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:
FAST BROTHERS (1978) LTD. – PORTABLE CONCRETE BATCH PLANT – FILE NO. 6058.00
An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Fast Brothers (1978) Ltd. for the installation and operation of a portable concrete batch plant at various locations throughout Manitoba. Fast Brothers (1978) Ltd. will install and operate an Axiom – Reliable Mix – RMX100 portable concrete batch plant equipped with a dust collection system to produce concrete for various projects tendered throughout the Province. The concrete is manufactured from aggregate stone, sand, cement, fly ash, admixtures and water.
Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Eshetu Beshada, Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca, not later than JULY 10, 2020. CENTRALE À BÉTON MOBILE – FAST BROTHERS (1978) LTD – DOSSIER no 6058.00
L’entreprise Fast Brothers (1978) Ltd a présenté un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement pour l’installation et l’exploitation d’une centrale à béton mobile à divers endroits au Manitoba. L’entreprise Fast Brothers (1978) Ltd installera et exploitera une centrale à béton mobile de type Reliable Mix RMX100 d’Axiom dotée d’un système de collecte des poussières pour la production de béton destiné à divers ouvrages faisant l’objet d’appels d’offres dans la province. Le béton est fabriqué à partir d’agrégats de pierre, de sable, de ciment, de cendres volantes, d’adjuvants et d’eau.
Toute personne susceptible d’être touchée par les activités susmentionnées et qui désire formuler des commentaires sur le projet est invitée à communiquer avec Eshetu Beshada, ingénieur en environnement, par la poste ou par courriel (à Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca), au plus tard le 10 JUILLET 2020. RIVERSIDE COLONY – WASTEWATER TREATMENT LAGOON – FILE: 6053.00
An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by the Riverside Colony for construction of a two cell high-density polyethylene lined wastewater treatment lagoon system on portions of SE 1-15-14 WPM in the RM of Glenella-Lansdowne. The treated effluent will be discharged into Whitemud River via 84N drain. The existing unlicensed wastewater treatment lagoon will be decommissioned.

Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:
TOWN OF BEAUSEJOUR – BEAUSEJOUR WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM – FILE: 6059.00
An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by the Manitoba Water Services Board on behalf of the Town of Beausejour for the construction and operation of an upgraded water supply system. The system would include two wells along Pescitelli Road southwest of Beausejour, a raw water pipeline connecting the wells with a new water treatment plant off Park Avenue east of the existing water treatment plant, and a concentrate pipeline from the new water treatment plant east along Park Avenue and Provincial Trunk Highway 44 to the Brokenhead River. The new water treatment plant would use a combination of membrane filtration and manganese greensand filtration to produce up to 36 litres per second of treated water. Up to 6 litres per second of concentrate water would be produced in the treatment process. Construction of the system is anticipated to begin in 2020 or 2021.

RÉSEAU D’APPROVISIONNEMENT EN EAU DE BEAUSEJOUR VILLE DE BEAUSEJOUR – VILLE DE BEAUSEJOUR – DOSSIER no 6059.00
La Commission des services d’approvisionnement en eau du Manitoba, au nom de la Ville de Beausejour, a présenté un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement pour la construction et l’exploitation d’un nouveau réseau d’approvisionnement en eau. Le réseau comprendrait deux puits le long du chemin Pescitelli au sud-ouest de Beausejour, une conduite d’eau brute reliant les puits à une nouvelle station de traitement des eaux située sur l’avenue Park à l’est de la station de traitement de l’eau existante, et une conduite de concentré partant de la nouvelle station de traitement des eaux à l’est longeant l’avenue Park et la route provinciale à grande circulation no 44 jusqu’à la rivière Brokenhead. La nouvelle station de traitement de l’eau utiliserait une combinaison de filtration sur membrane et de filtration sur sable vert du manganèse permettant de produire jusqu’à 36 litres d’eau traitée par seconde. Le processus de traitement produirait jusqu’à 6 litres par seconde de concentré. La construction du réseau devrait commencer en 2020 ou 2021.
