Notice of Environment Act Proposal
Manitoba Environment and Climate Change invites public comment on the following proposal:
SALFORD GROUP INC. – ELIE AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING FACILITY – FILE: 6097.00
Salford Group Inc. proposes to continue the operation of an agricultural equipment manufacturing facility at 70 Main Street East in the Local Urban District (LUD) of Elie, Manitoba. The facility designs and manufactures various models of granular fertilizer applicators, using steel sheets and pipes, polyethylene tanks, hydraulic systems, and electronic controls.
Anyone likely to be affected by the proposal and who wishes to comment, should contact Eshetu Beshada, Senior Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca no later than May 25, 2024. Information submitted in response to this proposal will be available to the proponent and placed on the public registry per Section 17 of The Environment Act.

Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Changement climatique invite le public à formuler des commentaires sur le projet suivant :
SALFORD GROUP INC. - USINE DE FABRICATION DE MATÉRIEL AGRICOLE À ELIE - DOSSIER NO 6097.00
Salford Group Inc. propose de poursuivre l’exploitation d’une usine de fabrication de matériel agricole au 70, rue Main Est, dans le district urbain local d’Elie, au Manitoba. L’usine conçoit et fabrique divers modèles d’épandeurs d’engrais granulaires au moyen de tôles et de tuyaux en acier, de réservoirs en polyéthylène, de systèmes hydrauliques et de commandes électroniques.
Toute personne susceptible d’être touchée par le projet susmentionné qui désire formuler des commentaires est invitée à communiquer avec Eshetu Beshada, ingénieur principal en environnement, par écrit ou par courriel à l’adresse Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca au plus tard le 25 mai 2024.
