ATTENTION RESIDENTS OF THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF CARTIER

Share Your Views concerning the proposed increase of sows in a mixed livestock operation Waldheim Colony (TRC 12-063)

The Manitoba government has received a proposal from Waldheim Colony to expand a 1002 animal unit mixed livestock operation (chickens and pigs) by 1125 animal units (sow: farrow to finish) for a total of 2127 animal units.

If you would like to share your opinion concerning this proposal, you are invited to contact the Manitoba government by sending either a letter or an email with your name clearly identified to (TRC@gov.mb.ca) specifically referencing TRC 12-063 no later than Monday, March 9, 2020. After this date, the proposal will be dealtwith by the Livestock Technical Review Committee.

Information submitted in response to this proposal is considered public information and will be made available to the proponent and placed on the public registry.

Exprimez-vous au sujet de l’augmentation proposée du nombre de truies dans une exploitation d’élevage mixte à la colonie Waldheim (TRC 12-063)

Le gouvernement du Manitoba a reçu une proposition de la colonie Waldheim visant l’élargissement d’une exploitation d’élevage mixte comptant 1 002 unités animales (poulets et cochons) en y ajoutant 1 125 unités animales (truies, naissage-finition) pour un total de 2 127 unités animales.

Si vous souhaitez exprimer votre opinion au sujet de cette proposition, veuillez communiquer avec le gouvernement du Manitoba en envoyant une lettre ou un courriel à TRC@gov.mb.ca, au plus tard le lundi 9 mars 2020. Indiquez clairement votre nom dans le message ainsi que la référence TRC 12-063. Après cette date, la proposition sera traitée par le Comité d’examen technique des exploitations d’élevage.

Les observations fournies relativement à cette demande sont considérées comme relevant du domaine public. Elles seront donc mises à la disposition de l’auteur de la demande et placées dans le registre public.
