Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

WINTEC BUILDING SERVICE INC. – Wintec Mobile Asphalt Plant – FILE: 6047.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Wintec Building Service Inc. for the installation and operation of a portable asphalt plant at various locations through out the Province of Manitoba. Wintec Building Service Inc. will operate an ADM DM149 Parallel Drum portable asphalt plant during the construction season to produce asphalt for various construction projects. The plant is equipped with a Barber Greene Portable Pulsejet style baghouse dust collector. A site-specific assessment will be performed for each operational location of the plant.

Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Eshetu Beshada, Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at eshetu.beshada@gov.mb.ca or by telephone at 204-945-7023, not later than APRIL 14, 2020. Le ministère de la Conservation et du Climat du Manitoba a reçu, en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement, un projet relatif à l’activité suivante et invite le public à participer au processus d’examen :

WINTEC BUILDING SERVICE INC. – Centrale à béton mobile Wintec – DOSSIER : 6047.00

La société Wintec Building Service Inc. a déposé un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement consistant à installer et à exploiter une centrale à béton mobile à divers endroits de la province du Manitoba. La société exploitera une centrale mobile à tambour parallèle ADM DM149 durant la saison de la construction pour produire de l’asphalte pour divers projets de construction. La centrale sera munie d’un dépoussiéreur à manches de style dépoussiéreur à décolmatage pneumatique Barber Greene. On procédera à une évaluation des éléments propres au site à chaque lieu d’activité de la centrale.

Toute personne susceptible d’être touchée par l’activité susmentionnée qui désire formuler des commentaires sur le projet est invitée à communiquer avec l’ingénieur en environnement Eshetu Beshada par la poste, par courriel (eshetu.beshada@gov.mb.ca) ou par téléphone (204 945-7023), au plus tard le 14 AVRIL 2020.
