Notice of Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act Application

Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received an application pursuant to The Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

REDONDA HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY – FILE: 6046.00

A Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act application has been filed by Tervita Corporation for the operation of a hazardous waste processing and storage facility located at 999 Redonda Street, Lot 1 Plan 29953 WLTO within NE 16-11-04 WPM in the Rural Municipality of Springfield, Manitoba. The material is transported to a licensed facility for further processing, reuse or disposal. All material is transported from this facility and no hazardous waste is disposed of at this location.

Avis de demande en vertu de la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses

Le ministère de la Conservation et du Climat du Manitoba a reçu, conformément à la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses, une demande relative à l’activité suivante et invite le public à participer au processus d’examen.

INSTALLATION DE GESTION DE DÉCHETS DANGEREUX, RUE REDONDA – DOSSIER : 6046.00

La société Tervita Corporation a déposé une demande en vertu de Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses visant à exploiter une installation de traitement et d’entreposage de déchets dangereux au 999, rue Redonda (Lot 1, Plan 29953, Bureau des titres fonciers de Winnipeg) dans la section NE 16-11-04 OMP de la municipalité régionale de Springfield, au Manitoba. Les déchets seront transportés à une installation autorisée où ils feront l’objet d’un traitement ultérieur, seront réutilisés ou éliminés. Tous les déchets seront transportés depuis cette installation. Aucun déchet dangereux ne sera éliminé à cet endroit.
