Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

BEAUSEJOUR CONSUMERS COOPERATIVE – BULK MATERIALS HANDLING FACILITY – RM OF BROKENHEAD FILE: 6062.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Beausejour Consumers Cooperative Limited for the construction and operation of a bulk materials handling facility to be located near the junction of Provincial Trunk Highways 44 and 12, at SE ¼ 12-13-7 EPM in the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead, Manitoba. The operation will include a bulk seed treating facility with six volumetric smooth wall bins, 4,000 metric tonne dry fertilizer storage, blending and loading facility, an agrichemical warehouse retrofitted from an existing structure on the site, and an office.

Le ministère de la Conservation et du Climat du Manitoba a reçu un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement concernant l’exploitation suivante et invite le public à participer au processus d’examen :

BEAUSEJOUR CONSUMERS COOPERATIVE – INSTALLATION DE MANUTENTION DE MATÉRIAUX EN VRAC – M.R. DE BROKENHEAD - DOSSIER : 6062.00

Un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement a été déposé par Beausejour Consumers Cooperative Limited pour la construction et l’exploitation d’une installation de manutention de matériaux en vrac située près de la jonction des routes provinciales à grande circulation 44 et 12, de l’E.M.P 12-13-7, quart de section S-E, dans la municipalité rurale de Brokenhead, au Manitoba. L’exploitation comprendra une installation de traitement des semences mises en mélange avec six silos volumétriques à paroi lisse et une installation d’entreposage, de mélange et de chargement de 4 000 tonnes métriques d’engrais solide, un entrepôt de produits agrochimiques modernisé à partir d’une structure existante sur le site et un bureau.
