Notice of Environment Act Proposal
Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:
ALAMOS GOLD INC. – LYNN LAKE GOLD PROJECT – GORDON MINE – FILE: 6074.00
An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Alamos Gold Inc. for the construction and operation of a 8.6 Mt open pit gold mine located approximately 55 km east of the Town of Lynn Lake (14U 412400E 6307800N) within the boundaries of claims and leasehold lands registered in the name of Carlisle Goldfields Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alamos Gold Inc.
Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Jennifer Winsor, Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Jennifer.Winsor@gov.mb.ca not later than October 16, 2020. Information submitted in response to this proposal is considered public information and will be made available to the proponent and placed on the public registry established in accordance with Section 17 of The Environment Act.

Un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement a été déposé par Alamos Gold Inc. pour la construction et l’exploitation d’une mine d’or à ciel ouvert de 8,6 Mt située à environ 55 km à l’est de la ville de Lynn Lake (14U 412400E 6307800N) dans les limites des concessions minières et des terres à bail enregistrées au nom de Carlisle Goldfields Limited, une filiale en propriété exclusive d’Alamos Gold Inc.
