Notice of Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act Application

Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received an application pursuant to The Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

MUNICIPALITY OF MINITONAS-BOWSMAN - BOWSMAN HAZARDOUS WASTE DEPOT – FILE: 6067.00

A Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act application has been filed by Rural Municipality of Minitonas-Bowsman for the operation of the hazardous waste depot at the Bowsman Waste Disposal Ground located at SW 24-38-27W, RM of Minitonas-Bowsman, MB. The material will be transported to a licensed facility for further processing, reuse or disposal. All material is transported from this facility and no hazardous waste is disposed of at this location.

Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the application should contact the department in writing or by email to Edwin Yazon, Environmental Engineer at Edwin.Yazon@gov.mb.ca, not later than OCTOBER 29, 2020. Le ministère de la Conservation et du Climat du Manitoba a reçu une demande conformément à la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses relativement à l’exploitation suivante et invite le public à participer au processus d’examen.

MUNICIPALITÉ DE MINITONAS-BOWSMAN – DÉPÔT DE DÉCHETS DANGEREUX DE BOWSMAN – DOSSIER N° : 6067.00

Une demande en vertu de la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses a été déposée par la municipalité rurale de Minitonas-Bowsman, visant l’exploitation du dépôt de déchets dangereux du site destiné à l’élimination des déchets de Bowsman, situé à SO 24-38-27O dans la municipalité rurale de Minitonas-Bowsman, au Manitoba. Les déchets seront transportés vers une installation faisant l’objet d’une licence en vue de leur transformation ultérieure, réutilisation ou élimination. Tout le matériel sera transporté ailleurs et aucun déchet dangereux ne sera éliminé sur les lieux.
