Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Environment and Climate Change invites public comment on the following proposal:

DAUPHIN CONSUMERS CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED. – BULK MATERIAL HANDLING FACILITY – FILE: 6213.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by WSP on behalf of Dauphin Consumers Cooperative Ltd. for the expansion and operation of an existing anhydrous ammonia tank farm located on NW 1/4 16-25-19 WPM in the Rural Municipality of Dauphin. The proposed development will consist of the construction and operation of three new anhydrous ammonia tanks, expanded gravel yard, storage area, and an office building.

Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Changement climatique du Manitoba sollicite les commentaires du public à l’égard du projet suivant :

DAUPHIN CONSUMERS COOPERATIVE LTD. – INSTALLATION DE MANUTENTION DES MATÉRIAUX EN VRAC – DOSSIER : 6213.00

WSP a déposé un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement au nom de Dauphin Consumers Cooperative Ltd. pour l’agrandissement et l’exploitation d’un parc de stockage d’ammoniac anhydre existant situé sur le quart N.-O. de la section 16 25 19 OMP, dans la municipalité rurale de Dauphin. Le projet d’aménagement comprendra la construction et l’exploitation de trois nouveaux réservoirs de stockage, l’élargissement de la cour de gravier et la construction d’une aire de stockage et d’un bâtiment à usage de bureaux.

Toute personne susceptible d’être touchée par le projet et qui désire formuler des commentaires à ce sujet est invitée à communiquer avec Donna Garcia, spécialiste des pesticides et du programme agricole par intérim, par écrit ou par courriel à l’adresse Donna.Garcia@gov.mb.ca, au plus tard le 22 février 2024.
