Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Sustainable Development has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

BUILDING PRODUCTS & CONCRETE SUPPLY LP. - Portable Concrete Batch Plant- FILE: 6022.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Building Products and Concrete Supply LP. for the installation and operation of a portable concrete batch plant at various locations throughout Manitoba. Building Products and Concrete Supply LP. operate RMX-200 Concrete Batching Plant equipped with dust collection system to produce concrete batches close to project sites at various areas thoughout the Province. The concrete is manufactured from aggregate stone, sand, cement, flyash (if required), admixtures and water that are metered using a computerized system.

Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Eshetu Beshada, Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at eshetu.beshada@gov.mb.ca or by telephone at 204-945-7023, not later than August 30, 2019. Manitoba Sustainable Development has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

LAFARGE CANADA INC. - Portable Concrete Batch Plant - FILE: 6025.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Lafarge Canada Inc. for the installation and operation of a portable concrete batch plant at various locations throughout Manitoba. Lafarge Canada Inc. will install and operate a Vince Hagan (Model HM-10.0) portable concrete batch plant equipped with a dust collection system to produce ready-mix concrete for various projects tendered throughout the Province. The concrete is manufactured from aggregate stone, sand, cement, admixtures and water.

Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Eshetu Beshada, Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at eshetu.beshada@gov.mb.ca or by telephone at 204-945-7023, not later than AUGUST 30, 2019. Manitoba Sustainable Development has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

SPRINGFIELD WOODWORKING LTD. - Custom Cabinet Shop - FILE: 5999.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Springfield Woodworking Ltd. for the continued operation of a custom cabinet manufacturing facility at 62078 Colony Road (NE 14-11-8 EPM) located at Springfield Colony Farm, in the Rural Municipality of Springfield Manitoba. Springfield Woodworking Ltd. uses solid woods, melamine or veneer covered particleboard, plywood or medium density fiberboard to manufacture kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The facility supplies its products to Northwestern Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
