Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Sustainable Development has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF ELLICE-ARCHIE – ST. LAZARE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT – FILE: 6031.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed for construction and operation of a moving bed biofilm reactor wastewater treatment plant to serve the community of St. Lazare on portions of SW 17-17-28 WPM in the Rural Municipality of Ellice-Archie. The facility has been designed to continuously discharge treated wastewater meeting provincial water quality standards into the Assiniboine River via a discharge pipe. The existing Oxbow lagoon will be decommissioned.

Avis de dépôt de projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement

Le ministère du Développement durable du Manitoba a reçu communication d’un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement relatif à l’exploitation suivante et invite le public à participer au processus d’examen :

MUNICIPALITÉ RURALE D’ELLICE-ARCHIE – USINE DE TRAITEMENT DES EAUX USÉES DE ST. LAZARE – DOSSIER : 6031.00

Une proposition en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement a été déposée pour la construction et l’exploitation d’une usine de traitement des eaux usées avec bioréacteurs à lit mobile pour desservir la collectivité de St. Lazare sur des parties de l’emplacement S.-E. de la sect. 17-17-28 O.M.P. dans la municipalité rurale d’Ellice-Archie. L’installation a été conçue pour déverser en continu dans la rivière Assiniboine, par une conduite d’évacuation, des eaux usées traitées répondant aux normes provinciales de qualité de l’eau. La lagune Oxbow existante sera déclassée.
