Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received an application pursuant to The Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

SWAN RIVER HAZARDOUS WASTE DEPOT – FILE: 6036.00

A Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act application has been filed by the Town of Swan River for the operation of a full-service hazardous waste depot at the Swan River Waste Disposal Ground located within N 15-36-27 WPM in the Municipality of Swan Valley West, Manitoba. The material is transported to a licensed facility for further processing, reuse or disposal. All material is transported from this facility and no hazardous waste is disposed of at this location.
