THE WINNIPEG HUMANE SOCIETY FOUNDATION

This is notice to the public that The Winnipeg Humane Society Foundation will present a petition for a private Bill to the Legislative Assembly at this or the next session of the Legislature.

The private Bill will do the following:

Amend The Winnipeg Humane Society Foundation Incorporation Act to:

a. change the composition of the Board of the Foundation;

b. enable the Board of the Foundation to establish an investment policy and retain external investment managers to administer the Foundation's assets in accordance with that policy; and

c. make minor administrative amendments.

Il est par les présentes donné avis que « The Winnipeg Humane Society Foundation » entend présenter à l'Assemblée législative, à la session en cours ou à la prochaine session, une pétition introductive d'un projet de loi d'intérêt privé.

Le projet de loi aura pour objet de modifier la Loi constituant en corporation « The Winnipeg Humane Society Foundation » afin :

a. de modifier la composition du Conseil de la Fondation;

b. de permettre au Conseil de la Fondation d'adopter des lignes directrices en matière de placements et de retenir les services de gestionnaires de placements externes pour gérer les éléments d'actif de la Fondation conformément à ces lignes directrices;

c. d'apporter des modifications administratives mineures.
