Notice of Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act Application
Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received an application pursuant to The Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:
TOWN OF CARBERRY AND RM OF NORTH CYPRESS-LANGFORD – CARBERRY WTS HAZARDOUS WASTE DEPOT – FILE: 6082.00
A Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act application has been filed by Town of Carberry and Rural Municipality of North Cypress-Langford for the operation of the hazardous waste depot at the Carberry Waste Transfer Station located at Lot A Plan 2260, RM of North Cypress-Langford, MB. The material will be transported to a licensed facility for further processing, reuse or disposal. All material is transported from this facility and no hazardous waste is disposed of at this location.
Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the application should contact the department in writing or by email to Edwin Yazon, Environmental Engineer at Edwin.Yazon@gov.mb.ca, not later than DECEMBER 13, 2020. Avis de demande en vertu de la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses
Le ministère de la Conservation et du Climat du Manitoba a reçu une demande conformément à la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses relativement à l’exploitation suivante et invite le public à participer au processus d’examen.

Une demande en vertu de la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses a été déposée par la ville de Carberry et la municipalité rurale de North Cypress-Langford visant l’exploitation du dépôt de déchets dangereux de la station de transfert des déchets de Carberry, située sur le lot A du plan 2260, dans la municipalité rurale de North Cypress-Langford, au Manitoba. Les déchets seront transportés vers une installation faisant l’objet d’une licence en vue de leur transformation ultérieure, réutilisation ou élimination. Tout le matériel sera transporté ailleurs et aucun déchet dangereux ne sera éliminé sur les lieux.
Toute personne susceptible d'être touchée par l'exploitation susmentionnée qui désire formuler des commentaires concernant cette demande est invitée à communiquer avec le ministère par écrit ou par courriel, en s’adressant à Edwin Yazon, ingénieur en environnement, à Edwin.Yazon@gov.mb.ca, au plus tard le 13 DÉCEMBRE 2020.
