Notice of Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act Application

Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received an application pursuant to The Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF ROSSER TRANSFER STATION HAZARDOUS WASTE DEPOT – FILE NO: 6118.00

An application has been filed by the Rural Municipality of Rosser for the operation of a hazardous waste depot at the Rosser Waste Transfer Station located on portions of SW 30-12-1 EPM within the Rural Municipality of Rosser. The material will be transported to a licensed facility for further processing, reuse or disposal. All material is transported from this facility and no hazardous waste is disposed of at this location.

Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the application should contact the department in writing or by email to Edwin Yazon, Environmental Engineer, at Edwin.Yazon@gov.mb.ca, not later than SEPTEMBER 05, 2021. Avis de demande en vertu de la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses

Le ministère de la Conservation et du Climat du Manitoba a reçu une demande conformément à la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses relativement à l’exploitation suivante, et invite le public à participer au processus d’examen.

DÉPÔT DE DÉCHETS DANGEREUX DANS LA STATION DE TRANSFERT DE LA MUNICIPALITÉ RURALE DE ROSSER - DOSSIER NO 6118.00

La Municipalité rurale de Rosser a déposé une demande pour l'exploitation d'un dépôt de déchets dangereux à la station de transfert de Rosser, située au lieu-dit SO 30-12-1 EMP dans la Municipalité rurale de Rosser. Les déchets seront transportés vers une installation disposant d’une licence en vue de leur transformation, de leur réutilisation ou de leur élimination. Tous les déchets sont transportés ailleurs, et aucun déchet dangereux ne sera éliminé sur les lieux.

Toute personne susceptible d'être touchée par l'exploitation susmentionnée et souhaitant formuler des commentaires concernant cette demande est invitée à communiquer avec le ministère par écrit ou par courriel, en s’adressant à Edwin Yazon, ingénieur en environnement, à Edwin.Yazon@gov.mb.ca, le 5 SEPTEMBRE 2021 AU PLUS TARD.
