Notice of Environment Act Proposal
Manitoba Environment and Climate Change invites public comment on the following proposal:
RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF VICTORIA - HOLLAND WATER SUPPLY UPGRADE – FILE: 6221.00
The municipality proposes to build two new groundwater wells to serve the Local Urban District of Holland, a 12.5 km-long water supply pipeline, and other infrastructure upgrades. The wells will be located within the right-of-way between SE 7-8-11 WPM and SW 8-8-11 WPM. The pipeline will connect the existing Holland water treatment plant and will be within the right-of-way of the provincial highway and municipal roads. The water supply will be capable of withdrawing 4.2 litres per second or about 55 cubic decametres per year. The backwash from the plant will be discharged to Holland’s wastewater treatment lagoon.

Avis de dépôt de projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Changement climatique invite le public à formuler des commentaires sur le projet suivant :
MUNICIPALITÉ RURALE DE VICTORIA – MISE À NIVEAU DE L’INFRASTRUCTURE D’APPROVISIONNEMENT EN EAU DANS LE DISTRICT URBAIN LOCAL DE HOLLAND – DOSSIER : 6221.00
La municipalité propose de creuser deux nouveaux puits pour desservir le district urbain local de Holland, d’aménager une canalisation de 12,5 km et de procéder à d’autres mises à niveau de l’infrastructure. Les puits seront construits dans l’emprise située entre le quart sud-est de la section 7-8-11 O.M.P. et le quart sud-ouest de la section 8-8-11 O.M.P. La canalisation qui reliera la station de traitement actuelle de Holland sera installée dans l’emprise de la route provinciale et des routes municipales. L’installation pourra prélever 4,2 litres d’eau par seconde, soit environ 55 décamètres cubes par an. L’eau de lavage à contre-courant de la station sera déversée dans l’étang d’épuration de Holland.
