Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

COLOR AD PACKAGING LTD. – ROTOGRAVURE ENGRAVING FACILITY – FILE: 6123.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Color Ad Packaging Ltd. for the continued operation of a rotogravure cylinder engraving facility at 630 Kernaghan Avenue in the City of Winnipeg. The facility manufactures rotogravure cylinders that will support the manufacturing of flexible packaging and labelling products in another licensed facility. The facility uses an air pollution control system to capture potential air emissions from the operation.

Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Eshetu Beshada, Senior Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca not later than February 12, 2022. Information submitted in response to this proposal is considered public information and will be made available to the proponent and placed on the public registry established in accordance with Section 17 of The Environment Act.

Le ministère de la Conservation et du Climat du Manitoba a reçu un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement relativement à l’activité suivante et invite le public à participer au processus d’examen :

COLOR AD PACKAGING LTD. – INSTALLATION DE ROTOGRAVURE – DOSSIER N° 6123.00

Un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement a été déposé par Color Ad Packaging Ltd. pour l’exploitation d’une installation de cylindres pour rotogravure au 630, avenue Kernaghan, dans la ville de Winnipeg. L’installation fabrique des cylindres pour rotogravure qui appuieront la fabrication de produits d’emballage et d’étiquetage flexibles dans une autre installation autorisée. L’installation utilise un système de contrôle de la pollution atmosphérique pour capturer les émissions atmosphériques potentielles provenant de l’exploitation.

Toute personne susceptible d’être touchée par l’activité susmentionnée qui désire formuler des commentaires sur le projet est invitée à communiquer avec Eshetu Beshada, ingénieur principal en environnement, par écrit ou par courriel à l’adresse Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca, au plus tard le 12 février 2022.
