Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Environment, Climate and Parks has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

ELKRIDGE COLONY FARMS LTD. – WASTEWATER TREATMENT LAGOON SYSTEM – FILE: 6136.00

A proposal was filed on behalf of MillsHof Colony for the construction and operation of a wastewater treatment lagoon in SW 20-07-15 WPM in the Municipality of Glenboro-South Cypress to service the Elkridge Colony Farms farmsite that will be located in SE 19-07-15 WPM. Treated wastewater from the wastewater treatment lagoon will be discharged via land application to proponent held lands including nearby either agricultural lands or local forested areas within SW 20-07-15 WPM and SE 19-07-15 WPM between April 10th and November 10th of any year.

Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Robert Boswick, Senior Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Robert.Boswick@gov.mb.ca not later than March 3, 2022. Avis de dépôt de projet en vertu de la Loi

Le ministère de l’Environnement, du Climat et des Parcs du Manitoba a reçu un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement relativement à l’activité suivante et invite le public à participer au processus d’examen :

ELKRIDGE COLONY FARMS LTD. – ÉTANG D’ÉPURATION DE L’EAU USÉE – DOSSIER : 6136.00

Un projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement a été déposé au nom de MillsHof Colony pour la construction et l’exploitation d’un étang d’épuration de l’eau usée situé au S.O. 20-07-15 O.M.P. dans la municipalité de Glenboro-South Cypress afin de desservir le site agricole d’Elkridge Colony Farms qui sera situé au S.E. 19-07-15 O.M.P. Les eaux usées traitées provenant de l’étang d’épuration de l’eau usée seront déversées par épandage sur les terres détenues par le promoteur, y compris sur les terres agricoles ou les zones forestières locales situées à proximité, au S.O. 20-07-15 O.M.P. et au S.E. 19-07-15 O.M.P., entre le 10 avril et le 10 novembre de chaque année.

Toute personne susceptible d’être touchée par l’activité susmentionnée qui désire formuler des commentaires sur le projet est invitée à communiquer avec Robert Boswick, ingénieur principal en environnement, par écrit ou par courriel à l’adresse Robert.Boswick@gov.mb.ca, au plus tard le 3 mars 2022.
