Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Environment, Climate and Parks welcomes comment on the following proposal:

FOX LAKE CREE NATION – WASTEWATER TREATMENT LAGOON CONSTRUCTION – FILE 6168.00:

Fox Lake Cree Nation seeks to create a new aerated wastewater treatment lagoon with a submerged attached growth reactor system and forcemain on 35-86-21 EPM and 1-87-21 EPM. The development is proposed for Provincial Crown Land near Gillam. The treated effluent will discharge at an outfall structure then flow down a natural slope into the Limestone River.

Avis de dépôt de projet en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement

Le ministère de l’Environnement, du Climat et des Parcs invite le public à faire des commentaires sur le projet déposé en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement :

La Nation crie de Fox Lake veut créer un nouvel étang d’épuration aéré comprenant un réacteur de culture fixe immergé et une conduite forcée dans la section 35-86-21 EMP et dans la section 1-87-21 EMP. Le projet desservirait la terre domaniale provinciale près de Gillam. L’effluent traité sera déversé dans une structure de rejet, puis s’écoulera dans une pente naturelle jusqu’à la rivière Limestone.

Toute personne susceptible d’être touchée par l’activité susmentionnée qui désire formuler des commentaires sur le projet est invitée à communiquer avec Barsha Sagan, ingénieure principale en environnement par intérim, par écrit ou par courriel à l’adresse Barsha.Sagan@gov.mb.ca, au plus tard le 6 mars 2023.
