Notice of Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act Application

Manitoba Environment, Climate and Parks invites comments on the following application:

MWM ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITED HAZARDOUS WASTE DEPOT– FILE: 5887.00

Municipal Waste Management Limited seeks to build a used oil collection facility within its existing household hazardous waste depot at 456 Jefferson Street, Morden. The depot plans to serve the City of Morden and its surrounding region. The company plans to move all hazardous wastes to a licensed facility for further processing, reuse, or disposal.

Anyone affected by the operation and who wishes to comment on the application should contact Mehak Bajwa, Senior Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Mehak.Bajwa@gov.mb.ca no later than March 2, 2023. Le ministère de l’Environnement, du Climat et des Parcs invite le public à faire des commentaires sur le projet déposé en vertu de la Loi sur la manutention et le transport des marchandises dangereuses

MWM ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITED, DÉPÔT DE DÉCHETS DANGEREUX – DOSSIER : 5887.00

Municipal Waste Management Limited veut construire une installation de collecte d’huiles usées à son dépôt de déchets dangereux situé au 456, rue Jefferson, à Morden. Le dépôt desservirait la ville de Morden et ses environs. L’entreprise compte transporter tous les déchets dangereux vers une installation autorisée en vue de leur transformation, de leur réutilisation ou de leur élimination.

Toute personne touchée par l’activité susmentionnée et qui désire formuler des commentaires sur le projet est invitée à communiquer avec Mehak Bajwa, ingénieure principale en environnement, par écrit ou par courriel à Mehak.Bajwa@gov.mb.ca, au plus tard le 2 mars 2023.
