Manitoba Environment and Climate invites public comment on the following proposal:
CASCADES CANADA ULC. – CORRUGATED AND SOLID FIBER BOX MANUFACTURING FACILITY – FILE: 6151.00
Cascades Canada filed an Environment Act Proposal to continue operating a corrugated and boxboard manufacturing facility at 680 Wall Street in the City of Winnipeg. The facility manufactures single and double walled cardboard. Mitigation measures are in place to manage potential release of pollutants to the environment.
Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Eshetu Beshada, Senior Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca no later than August 21, 2023. Information submitted in response to this proposal is public and will be available to the proponent and placed on the public registry per Section 17 of The Environment Act.

CASCADES CANADA ULC. USINE DE FABRICATION DE CAISSES EN CARTON ONDULÉ ET EN CARTON COMPACT – NO DE DOSSIER : 6151.00
Cascades Canada a déposé un projet sous le régime de la Loi sur l’environnement en vue de poursuivre l’exploitation d’une usine de fabrication de caisses en carton ondulé et en carton compact au 680, rue Wall, dans la ville de Winnipeg. L’usine fabrique du carton ondulé simple et double face. Des mesures d’atténuation sont en place pour gérer les émissions potentielles de polluants dans l’environnement.
Toute personne susceptible d’être touchée par l’activité susmentionnée qui désire formuler des commentaires sur le projet est invitée à communiquer avec Eshetu Beshada, ingénieur principal en environnement, par écrit ou par courriel à l’adresse Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca, au plus tard le 21 août 2023. Vous trouverez des renseignements additionnels dans le registre public en ligne (en anglais seulement) au : www.gov.mb.ca/sd/eal/registries.

Manitoba Environment and Climate invites public comment on the following proposal:
RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF WHITEMOUTH - WHITEMOUTH WASTEWATER TREATMENT LAGOON – FILE: 6188.00
The Rural Municipality Whitemouth proposes to construct and operate a wastewater treatment lagoon at SW 25-11-11E serving the community of Whitemouth. The project will include construction of the new lagoon and a new forcemain. Treated effluent will be discharged to the natural drain that discharges into the Whitemouth River.

Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Climat invite le public à commenter le projet suivant :
MUNICIPALITÉ RURALE DE WHITEMOUTH – ÉTANG D’ÉPURATION DE L’EAU USÉE DE WHITEMOUTH – DOSSIER No : 6188.00
La municipalité rurale de Whitemouth propose la construction et l’exploitation d’un étang d’épuration de l’eau usée situé au S.O. 25-11-11 E desservant la collectivité de Whitemouth. Le projet comprend la construction d’un nouvel étang d’épuration et d’une nouvelle conduite de refoulement. L’effluent traité sera évacué dans le drain naturel qui se déverse dans la rivière Whitemouth.
