Notice of Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act Application

Manitoba Environment and Climate Change invites public comment on the following application:

MUNICIPALITY OF NORFOLK TREHERNE TRANSFER STATION HAZARDOUS WASTE DEPOT – FILE: 6197.00

Municipality of Norfolk Treherne proposes to operate a household hazardous waste depot in the Treherne Transfer Station on portion of SE 25-7-10 WPM within the Municipality of Norfolk Treherne, Manitoba. The municipality will transport the hazardous waste to a licensed facilty for further processing, reuse, or disposal. No hazardous waste will be disposed of at this location.

Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Changement climatique sollicite les commentaires du public à l’égard du projet suivant :

DÉPÔT DE DÉCHETS DANGEREUX DANS LA STATION DE TRANSFERT DE LA MUNICIPALITÉ DE NORFOLK-TREHERNE - DOSSIER No : 6197.00

La municipalité de Norfolk-Treherne propose d’exploiter un dépôt de déchets domestiques dangereux dans la station de transfert de Treherne sur une portion de S.O. 25-7-10 OMP, dans la municipalité de Norfolk-Treherne, au Manitoba. La municipalité compte transporter tous les déchets dangereux vers une installation autorisée en vue de leur transformation, de leur réutilisation ou de leur élimination. Aucun déchet dangereux ne sera éliminé sur place.
