Notice of Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act Application

Manitoba Environment and Climate Change invites public comment on the following application:

RM OF YELLOWHEAD – SHOAL LAKE RECYCLING CENTRE USED OIL PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS COLLECTION FACILITY – FILE: 6243.00

The Rural Municipality of Yellowhead proposes to operate a full household hazardous waste collection depot at a Shoal Lake Recycling Centre on N1/2 of 10-17-23 WPM within the Rural Municipality of Yellowhead, Manitoba. The Rural Municipality will transport the hazardous waste to a licensed facility for further processing, reuse, or disposal. No hazardous waste will be disposed of at this location.

Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Changement climatique sollicite les commentaires du public à l’égard du projet suivant :

MUNICIPALITÉ RURALE DE YELLOWHEAD – INSTALLATION DE COLLECTE DE PRODUITS ET DE MATÉRIAUX À BASE D’HUILE USÉE AU CENTRE DE RECYCLAGE DE SHOAL LAKE – DOSSIER : 6243.00

La municipalité rurale de Yellowhead propose d’exploiter un centre de collecte de déchets ménagers dangereux au centre de recyclage de Shoal Lake situé sur la moitié nord de la section 10, township 17, rang 23 O.M.P. dans la municipalité rurale de Yellowhead, au Manitoba. La municipalité rurale compte transporter les déchets dangereux vers une installation autorisée en vue de leur transformation, de leur réutilisation ou de leur élimination. Aucun déchet dangereux ne sera éliminé sur place.
