Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Environment and Climate Change invites public comment on the following proposal:

CENTRA GAS MANITOBA INC. – DOMINION CITY TO ALTONA GAS TRANSMISSION PIPELINE PROJECT – FILE: 6247.00

Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. proposes to build a 38.7-kilometre long and 8-inch diameter natural gas transmission pipeline that will originate near Dominion City and end north of Altona. The proposed route passes through the municipalities of Emerson-Franklin, Montcalm and Rhineland. If approved, construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2026 and will take approximately one year to complete.

Information submitted in response to this proposal will be available to the proponent and placed on the public registry per Section 17 of The Environment Act.

Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Changement climatique du Manitoba invite le public à commenter le projet suivant :

CENTRA GAS MANITOBA INC. – PROJET DE CONDUITE DE TRANSPORT DE GAZ DE DOMINION CITY À ALTONA – DOSSIER : 6247.00

Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. propose de construire une conduite de transport de gaz naturel de 38,7 kilomètres de long et de 8 pouces de diamètre, qui partira de Dominion City et aboutira au nord d’Altona. L’itinéraire proposé traverse les municipalités d’Emerson-Franklin, de Montcalm et de Rhineland. Si elle est approuvée, la construction devrait commencer à l’été 2026 et durer environ un an.
