Public Notice — Under Application to the Legislature — Notice of Petition for a Private Bill

This is notice to the public that the Westminster United Church Foundation will present a petition for a Private Bill to the Legislative Assembly at this or the next session of the Legislature.
The Private Bill will make the following amendments to The Westminster United Church Foundation Incorporation Act (RSM 1990, c. 212):
a. Change the composition of the board of trustees so that if the position of immediate past chair of the General Board of Westminster United Church is vacant, the vice-chair is one of the ex officio members of the board of trustees;
b. In the event that the Westminster United Church Foundation is dissolved, its remaining assets, after payment of debts and liabilities, are to be distributed to registered charities as determined by the board of trustees.

Il est par les présentes donné avis que la « Westminster United Church Foundation » entend présenter à l'Assemblée législative, à la session en cours ou à la prochaine session, une pétition introductive d'un projet de loi d'intérêt privé.
Le projet de loi visera à modifier la Loi constituant en corporation la « Westminster United Church Foundation » (c. 212 des L.R.M. 1990) aux fins suivantes :
a) modifier la composition du conseil d'administration afin que le vice-président du Conseil général de l'Église Unie Westminster en soit membre d'office si le poste de président sortant est vacant;
b) prévoir qu'advenant la dissolution de la « Westminster United Church Foundation », le reliquat de ses biens après le paiement de ses dettes et obligations soit distribué à des organismes de bienfaisance enregistrés, selon ce que le conseil d'administration établit.
