Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Environment and Climate Change invites public comment on the following proposal:

WINPAK LTD. - PACKAGING MATERIAL MANUFACTURING FACILITY - FILE: 5262.10

Winpak Ltd. has proposed the expansion and continued operation of a packaging material manufacturing facility at 100 and 200 Saulteaux Crescent in Winnipeg. Winpak proposes to expand to the north to include 200 Saulteaux Crescent into the existing facility to accommodate new barrier extrusion/coating capacity, shipping/receiving upgrades, welfare spaces, and future production footprints, while converting portions of the existing paved parking area into landscaped green space.

Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Changement climatique invite le public à commenter le projet suivant:

WINPAK LTD. – USINE DE FABRICATION DE MATÉRIAUX D’EMBALLAGE – DOSSIER: 5262.10

La société Winpak Ltd. a proposé l’agrandissement et la poursuite de l’exploitation d’une usine de fabrication de matériaux d’emballage située aux numéros 100 et 200, croissant Saulteaux, à Winnipeg. Winpak propose de s’étendre vers le nord afin d’intégrer le 200, croissant Saulteaux à l’installation existante, dans le but d’accueillir de nouvelles capacités de revêtement et d’extrusion de barrières, d’améliorer les installations d’expédition et de réception, d’aménager des espaces de bien-être et de prévoir la superficie au sol pour de futures installations de production, tout en transformant une partie du stationnement pavé existant en espace vert paysager.
