Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Environment and Climate Change invites public comment on the following proposal:

RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF MACDONALD - OAK BLUFF WASTEWATER TREATMENT LAGOON EXPANSION – FILE: 3138.20

The Rural Municipality of Macdonald proposes to expand the existing Oak Bluff two-cell wastewater treatment lagoon located at NW and SW 17-09-02 EPM, southeast of Oak Bluff, Manitoba. The project includes conversion of the existing primary cell into two aerated primary cells and a secondary cell with raised berms, upgrades to the existing secondary cell, and construction of a new secondary cell south of the existing lagoon. Treated effluent will continue to discharge via a provincial drainage channel to the La Salle River.

Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Changement climatique invite le public à commenter le projet suivant :

MUNICIPALITÉ RURALE DE MACDONALD – AGRANDISSEMENT DE L’ÉTANG D’ÉPURATION DE L’EAU USÉE D’OAK BLUFF – DOSSIER: 3138.20

La municipalité rurale de Macdonald propose d’agrandir l’étang d’épuration de l’eau usée à deux cellules existant d’Oak Bluff, situé sur les portions nord-est et sud-est de la section 17-09-02 EMP, au sud-est d’Oak Bluff, au Manitoba. Le projet prévoit la transformation de la cellule primaire existante en deux cellules primaires aérées et en une cellule secondaire dotée de bermes surélevées, la modernisation de la cellule secondaire existante, ainsi que la construction d’une nouvelle cellule secondaire au sud de l’étang existant. Les eaux usées traitées continueront d’être rejetées dans la rivière Sale par l’entremise d’un canal de drainage provincial.
