RM OF ALEXANDER AND RM OF ST. CLEMENTS

A Special Survey has been made in the Rural Municipality of Alexander in Section 6 Township 17 Range 8 E.P.M., and in the Rural Municipality of St. Clements in Section 31 Township 16 Range 8 E.P.M.

The Special Survey was directed to be made in accordance with Sec. 1 of The Special Survey Act C.C.S.M. c. S190.

The purpose of the Special Survey is to correctly define the ¼ north of Sec 31 – 16 – 8 EPM and to correct any affected surveys. Conflicting survey monuments were discovered in this location. The plan and field notes of the Special Survey have been filed as Deposit No. 938/2023 in the office of the Examiner of Surveys for registration.

Any person interested in the affected property may make objections against the Special Survey or plan.

To object to this Special Survey you must:

Complaints and objections may be made against the said Special Survey or plan by any person interested in the affected property.

  • provide the Registrar - General with a written statement, setting out the nature and grounds of your objection
  • deliver the statement by mail to:

            Manitoba Public Service Delivery
            1203 - 155 Carlton Street Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 3H8
            OR
            By e-mail to Registrar - General@gov.mb.ca
  • with a copy to the Examiner of Surveys, 500 - 200 Graham Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 4L5, or by e-mail to michael.pare@teranet.ca on or before 4:30 p.m. on August 7, 2026.

If a written objection is received, the Minister of Public Service Delivery shall submit the matter to the Municipal Board for a public hearing. The Municipal Board will provide notice of such a hearing and contact complainants in that regard.

If no complaints against the survey or plan are received, the Plan of Special Survey will be submitted to the Registrar General for approval and registration. A copy of this draft plan can be made available for viewing upon request to the Examiner of Surveys.
