Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Environment and Climate Change invites public comment on the following proposal:

PRAIRIE PLATING SOLUTIONS - ELECTROPLATING FACILITY – FILE: 6344.00

Prairie Plating Solutions submitted an environmental act proposal to construct and operate an Electroplating Facility at 15 Bury Street in the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba. The facility performs controlled metal finishing using Chloride Zinc Electroplating, Electroless Nickel Plating and Non-Cyanide Silver plating and its associated surface preparations. The products serve agricultural and industrial equipment manufacturers and their supporting subcontractors.

PRAIRIE PLATING SOLUTIONS – INSTALLATION D’ÉLECTROPLACAGE – DOSSIER: 6344.00

Prairie Plating Solutions a déposé une demande en vertu de la Loi sur l’environnement visant à construire et à exploiter une installation d’électroplacage au 15, rue Bury, dans la ville de Winnipeg, au Manitoba. L’installation réalise des traitements de surfaces métalliques sous contrôle, notamment par électroplacage au chlorure de zinc, placage au nickel autocatalytique et dépôt d’argent sans cyanure, ainsi que les préparations de surface associées. Ces produits s’adressent aux fabricants d’équipement agricole et industriel ainsi qu’à leurs sous-traitants.
