Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Sustainable Development has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

JOSEPH ISFJORD AND KIMBERLEY DAWN ISFJORD – FILE: 5718.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Joseph Isfjord and Kimberley Dawn Isfjord for the installation of two 45,000 litre holding tanks that will replace an existing wastewater pond and complement the continuing operation of the existing wastewater collection systems, holding tanks, and septic tank and field system that serve other portions of Chesley’s Resort. The Resort is located within SE 23-15-4 EPM in the Rural Municipality of St. Andrews. Wastewater collected and stored in the holding tanks at the Resort will be pumped out and trucked by licensed haulers to the Rural Municipality of St. Andrews wastewater treatment lagoon. The existing wastewater pond will be decommissioned once the two new holding tanks are successfully commissioned.

Manitoba Sustainable Development has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

NUTRIEN AG SOLUTIONS (CANADA) INC. – ANHYDROUS AMMONIA SITE– FILE: 6027.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Nutrien Ag Solutions (Canada) Inc. for the continued operation of an anhydrous ammonia storage and distribution facility at NE ¼ 21-25-28 WPM in the Municipality of Roblin, Manitoba. The development will consist of one 30, 000 US gallon storage vessel for transfer directly into nurse wagons or field delivery units.

PARRISH AND HEIMBECKER LIMITED – BULK MATERIAL HANDLING FACILITY – R.M. OF SPRINGFIELD– FILE: 6028.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Kelsen Agritech on behalf of Parrish and Heimbecker for the construction and operation of a bulk material handling facility including granular fertilizer, agrichemical warehouse and seed treatment handling and storage facilities to the grain elevator currently under development sited at NW 31-10-6 EPM in the Rural Municipality of Springfield, Manitoba. The development will consist of 16 x 46 x 5 meter agrichemical warehouse, 43 x 31 x 12 meter granular fertilizer storage building.

Manitoba Sustainable Development has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

Vita Health Products Inc. – Vita Health Pharmaceutical Facility – FILE: 6026.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Vita Health Products Inc. for the continued operation of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility at 150 Beghin Avenue (Lots 1 & 2 Plan 16587, WLTO, Parcels C & D Plan 29058 WLTO, and Parcel A Plan 38342 WLTO in Lots 197 and 200, Roman Catholic Mission Property) in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Vita Health Products Inc. uses compounding and compression processes to manufacture a variety of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products. Therefore, the facility manufactures, tests, packages and distributes natural health and over the counter pharmaceutical products.
