Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Conservation and Climate has received a proposal pursuant to The Environment Act regarding the following operation and invites public participation in the review process:

ABAS GIRLS INC. AND ABAS GIRLS RANCH - WASTEWATER TREATMENT LAGOON - FILE: 6129.00

An Environment Act Proposal has been filed by Abas Girls Inc. and Abas Girls Ranch for the construction and operation of a wastewater treatment lagoon in SW 26-12-2E in the Rural Municipality of Rosser. The facility would treat wastewater from three existing and proposed commercial facilities and a private residence near PTH 7 southwest of the proposed lagoon. Treated effluent from the lagoon would be discharged once a year to the Grassmere Drain.

Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Bruce Webb, Senior Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Bruce.Webb@gov.mb.ca not later than November 21, 2021.
