THE MANITOBA NATUROPATHIC ASSOCIATION REGULATION
The Board of the Manitoba Naturopathic Association has made amendments to Section 17 of the Regulations.

17 Eligibility
17(1) Eligibility for full registration
The requirements for full registration as a naturopathic doctor are:
(a) successful completion of a 4-year program of study in naturopathic medicine approved by the board.
(b) successful completion of a standardized entry to practice examination administered by a Canadian or American examining body that is approved by the board.
(c) successful completion of provincial examination(s) required by the board.
(d) demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Registrar that the applicant is currently competent to practice as a naturopathic doctor.
(e) and meets one of the following:
(i) within the two years immediately preceding the date the Registrar received an application for registration, the applicant has met the requirements set out in clauses (a) and (b);
(ii) within the three years immediately preceding the date the Registrar received the complete application for registration, has provided 1200 hours of professional services to patients while the applicant was a registered member in good standing of a naturopathic regulatory body and carried on an active practice in a jurisdiction in Canada or the United States that is recognized by the MNA and can provide evidence of the 1200 hours of practice.
(iii) For the purposes of subsection 17(e)(ii) the Registrar may require an applicant to undergo any examination(s), testing, assessment, supervised practice, preceptor(s) and or education, upgrading and bridge training the Registrar considers necessary.
