Notice of Dangerous Goods Handling and Transportation Act Application

Manitoba Environment and Climate invites public comment on the following application:

RM OF RITCHOT – RITCHOT LANDFILL HAZARDOUS WASTE DEPOT – FILE: 6177.00

The Rural Municipality of Ritchot seeks to operate a hazardous waste depot in the Ritchot Landfill on portions of subdivision 4 of 32-8-4 EPM within the Rural Municipality of Ritchot, Manitoba. If approved, the depot will collect and store household hazardous waste. The municipality will transport the collected hazardous waste to a licensed facility for further processing, reuse, or disposal. No hazardous waste will be disposed of at this location.

Le ministère de l’Environnement et du Climat invite le public à formuler des commentaires sur la demande suivante :

M.R. DE RITCHOT – DÉPÔT DE DÉCHETS DANGEREUX À LA DÉCHARGE DE RITCHOT – DOSSIER NO : 6177.00

La municipalité rurale de Ritchot souhaite exploiter un dépôt de déchets dangereux dans la décharge de Ritchot, sur des portions de la subdivision 4 de la section 32 du township 8-4 E.M.P. de la municipalité rurale de Ritchot, au Manitoba. Si la demande est approuvée, le dépôt servira à recueillir et à stocker des déchets domestiques dangereux. La municipalité compte transporter tous les déchets dangereux vers une installation autorisée en vue de leur transformation, de leur réutilisation ou de leur élimination. Aucun déchet dangereux ne sera éliminé sur place.
