Notice of Environment Act Proposal

Manitoba Environment and Climate invites public comment on the following proposal:

DECOR CABINETS LTD. – CABINET MANUFACTURING FACILITY – FILE: 6167.00

Decor Cabinets Ltd. filed an Environment Act Proposal to continue operating a cabinet manufacturing facility at 200 Route 100 in the City of Morden. The facility manufactures cabinets completed with wood veneer, or PVC banding. Mitigation measures are in place to manage and control air emissions.

Anyone likely to be affected by the above operation and who wishes to comment on the proposal should contact Eshetu Beshada, Senior Environmental Engineer, in writing or by email at Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca not later than June 5, 2023. Information submitted in response to this proposal is public and will be available to the proponent and placed on the public registry per Section 17 of The Environment Act.

Decor Cabinets Ltd. a déposé un projet sous le régime de la Loi sur l’environnement en vue de poursuivre l’exploitation d’une usine de fabrication d’armoires située au 200, route 100, dans la ville de Morden. L’usine fabrique des armoires recouvertes de bois de placage ou de bandes de PVC. Des mesures d’atténuation sont en place pour gérer et contrôler les émissions atmosphériques.

Toute personne susceptible d’être touchée par l’activité mentionnée ci dessous et qui souhaite faire part de ses observations sur le projet est priée de communiquer avec Eshetu Beshada, ingénieur principal en environnement, par écrit ou par courriel, à l’adresse Eshetu.Beshada@gov.mb.ca au plus tard le 5 juin 2023.
